We get to know our students closely and support them in line with their interests and talents during the years of secondary education where specialisation and academic content are more advanced, thereby training individuals who rejoice in learning.
TED Bodrum College aims to provide an educational approach that leads students to think and to express themselves by moving away from memorisation with a curriculum enriched by the Turkish Education Association. Our school not only develops its students in academic, social and emotional aspects, but also trains them as active individuals with all the necessary knowledge and skills of the modern age at national and international levels. Effective learning offered at our school with interdisciplinary activities under the k12 umbrella allows every individual to discover and develop their academic potential.
The learning process is student-centred. “Learning with love and learning how to learn” expresses the main goal for our students. Classes are delivered with training methods and techniques that offer support and possibility for permanent safekeeping and use of learning. TUBITAK projects, STEM Fair… are merely a few of these tools.
Our students are directed towards a wide range of social responsibility projects and cultural, artistic, and sports activities in addition to academic success.
Our school endeavours to create a universal training and education atmosphere. In line with this goal, international programmes are implemented at our secondary school including Canada Nova Scotia Student Exchange Programme and BTEC International Vocational Training Programme. In addition to the abovementioned, our students are encouraged to take part in such international events as Junior Model United Nations, Science Project, Gauss Mathematics Contest, and Destination Imagination.
Preparation for national exams (LGS) at the end of secondary school is initiated starting from the 7th grade. Our educational practices focus on “learning” away from memorisation and without any compromises in social, sports, and cultural learning and our students reach extraordinary excellence both individually and collectively in LGS exams.
